

TOM RICE (producer) wrote and directed The Rising Place, a feature film he produced through his production company Flatland Pictures, Inc. The Rising Place won 16 film festival awards, including Best Picture, and is being distributed domestically by Warner Bros. He also co-wrote and directed the comedy pilot Case Closed for Comedy Central.
For television, Tom was the script supervisor for two years on Fox's American Idol, as well as season 3 of NBC's Last Comic Standing and this season's finale of CBS's hit show Survivor: Palau and Survivor: Guatemala.
Tom attended New York's School of Visual Arts as the Presidential Scholar, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
